Former TOURNIQUET Members Rejoin Forces In 2050

August 24, 2006

Former TOURNIQUET members Victor Macias (bass),Erik Mendez (guitar),and Gary Lenaire (guitar) are back together and working on new music with their brand new project 2050. The group, which cites its influences as BLACK SABBATH, SLAYER, MAGMA and MOTÖRHEAD, has launched its MySpace page at this location.

Lenaire played on all of TOURNIQUET's releases between 1990 and 1995 while Mendez only appeared on 1992's "Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance" and 1993's "Live Vol. 2". Macias was a member of TOURNIQUET for the same two albums that Mendez performed on, plus 1994's "Vanishing Lessons" and the 1995 EP "Carry The Wounded".
